About Teacher

Ustad represents 19th generation of Dagar Tradition. Born in udaipur rajasthan on june 15th 1933 ustad learnt Dhrupad and Rudra veena both from his father ustad ziauddin dagar and after his demise latter he continued his training from his elder brother late ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar. He performed widely in India, Europe, Holend, Australia, Austria, USA, ect. 
Ustad Sahab got so many awards like Sangeet Natak acadmy, Swati Tirunal, Tansen award Padm shree ect.
Ustad did so many work for spread awareness of Dhrupad till his last breath. He taught so many students like Pandit Pushpraj Koshti, Pandit Ritvik Sanyal, Pandit Umakant Ramakant Gundecha, Pandit Uday Bhawalkar, Pandit Nirmalya Day, Afzal Hussain, Manoj Sarraf, Sulbha Chaursiya, Sombala Satle, Nancy Lash, Abhijeet Sukhdane ect. He took his last breath on 8th june 2013.
